Kinhank has only 100mbit network. For me you can't compare against Dune/ Homatics. As far as I know is coreELEC only useable with older firmware. With up-to-date releases it's not possible to boot from SD/usb or whatever...
I'm aware of the 100 Mbps Ethernet, but my boxes are used for IPTV and that is plenty, even for UHD live streams.
If you need highwer speeds use 5 Ghz wifi. The box supports WIFI 6
I read on the other forums that CoreElec doesn't work on the latest firmware, but the same forums also post that you need to request a password from Kinhank to enable developer options.
It worked with me out of the box, and there is an option to unlock bootloader, which I understand is needed for CoreElec to boot.
The boxes I received have the latest firmware, since it updated at first boot.
Also the USB 2 ports don't bother me.
I'm in the Homatics Telegram chat, not the dune one, and I can see the pages of complaints that are added daily. Now even the moderators in that chat admit that there are too many issues with the current firmware.
I rolled my boxes back to ATV11, and now they work fine, but in fact I get the same (apart from the 100Mbps network) as the Kinhank at double the price.
I also have the Mecool KM2, which turned in a piece of trash after the update to ATV12, and the KM2 Plus with the S905X4-b Soc, which has issues with many live channels having a green screen.
