I'm using Kodi on a Zidoo Z9X Pro. Does either build make better use of the hardware or would I still need to use the built-in Zidoo media player?

Now that Kodi Omega has been released what, if anything, does using the Maven Kodinerds build provide that the official Kodi build does not?
