@catshome Thank you for pointing me to the new builds. I first tried the one in the Matrix folder, but that one has had the libbluray changes removed I think.

Then I noticed there is a separate blu-ray test version in the Test folder, so I tried that one. I noticed it's only a 32-bit version, so I installed the 32-bit version of the Java addon too.

But unfortunately, blu-ray menus still won't work with this version. When selecting "Show blu-ray menu" in Settings -> Player -> Disc, the error "There was an error encountered loading Java" is displayed.

I checked the special://xbmcbin directory and the Java addon is present there.

Maybe the Shield requires 64-bit Java and won't work with 32-bit, but I am not sure about that.

Would be cool if @Maven could build a 64-bit test version too.

Been doing some [definition=12,2]debugging[/definition], but I cannot get blu-ray menus to work.

    See my post here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php…1346#pid3041346

Although everything looks the same between fandagos and the Maven builds, it looks like Java is not being properly loaded.

Because when I go into the Settings and then to Player -> Discs -> Blu-ray playback mode and choose "Show Blu-ray menu", an error is displayed: "There was an error encountered loading Java."

When I do the same in fandagos' build, that error is not displayed.

    @MrMagic
I have integrated the changes in my matrix builds.

I tested it just now but it doesn't seem to work. To be clear, this is the build you are talking about right?

I installed the JRE addon and it looks like it successfully runs:

    Zitat

    2021-06-03 19:03:49.247 T:20155 INFO <general>: CPythonInvoker(2, /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/http://net.kodinerds.maven.kodi/files/.kodi/ad…ice.jre/main.py): script successfully run

But I don't think it actually extracts the j2re-image.zip file and puts the files in the right place. Because the build of fandagos first copies the zip file to the Kodi temp directory and I don't see that happening here.

Hallo lieber @Maven (schleim [ag] )
Könntest bei Gelegeheit und wenn du Zeit hast die Erweiterung aus diesem Post vom fandangos in deine Builds bitte integrieren?
    LG und ein schönes WE.

@Maven Do you think it's possible to include fandagos change in your Matrix 19.1 build? This would enable the use of full blu-ray menu support as long as you also install the separate JRE addon provided here: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=360250

From what I understand of fandagos post only a few lines need to be changed/added in the file PlatformAndroid.cpp

Apologies for writing in English, my German is not that good :)
