hmmm... aber auch ohne Pulseaudio bekomme ich mit speaker-test zumindest 2 kanäle der soundkarte betrieben - im XBMC sehe ich sie aber immer noch nicht. und ich habe Pulseaudio nicht nur deaktiviert, sondern richtig deinstalliert...

und April-release: kann ich downgraden, ohne mein komplettes system neu aufzusetzen? weil neben XBMC hab ich da auch noch ne timemachine drauf laufen und das würde quasi zweifelsfrei bedeuten, dass ich 500GB backup neu über netzwerk machen müsste... oder gibt es irgendwelche audio-relevanten komponenten in Raspbmc, die in Wheezy nicht drin sind?

Mein TV kann leider den 5.1-Ton vom HDMI nicht an meine Anlage weiter geben - entsprechend wollte ich entweder einen Soundausgang über SPDIF oder analog (3 x 3.5mm Klinke). Also mit die USB-Soundbox von Conrad (http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/872991/) gekauft - da sie des öfteren als "kompatibel" bezeichnet wurde. (u.A. hier: http://elinux.org/RPi_VerifiedPeripherals)

Unter ALSA (speaker-test) bekomme ich sie auch zum laufen, aber XBMC erkennt sie leider nicht. dort bekomme ich immer nur HDMI oder analog als auswahl...
