Kodi vs Kodinerds Maven build Audible difference?

Sorry if post is in the wrong place. Maybe it could be moved by moderator in that place.

I have latest version of Kodi from playstore and Kodinerds Maven build installed on a Nvidia Shield.

I play Movies quite loud near reference level. Usually 2160p with Atmos or Dolby True hd Audio. I also play movies with dts-hdma, Dts and Doly digital.

To me i think Kodi sounds a little bit harsh and emphasize treble. Almost a little bit distorted.

I have the same settings in both Kodi from playstore and Kodinerds Maven build. The settings in the Nvidia Shield is exactly the same.

The volume om my receiver is the same when i test and i have run a couple of movies sequences with decibel meter and it shows the same for both Kodi and Kodinerds Maven build.

How is this possible? Is there a difference in Kodinerds Maven build audio implementation?

I realized i didnt explaine thoroughly. Sorry, English is not my mother tongue.

Kodinerds Maven build sounds great! And everything else on Nvidia Shield. Its just Kodi from playstore that sounds a little bit harsh and treble emphasized(distorted?)

I just thought maybe someone knew if Kodinerds Maven build handles audio different in anyway from Kodi from playstore.
