Botan seems to be a bit tricky in cross-compiling scenarios. What I needed it for was basically only AES128-CBC and SHA256. Pretty basic stuff. It could also be implemented differently so we could get rid of Botan.
For AES tiny AES. And for SHA SHA256. For example.
Somebody voluntary to create a pull request? Or alternative suggestions? Personally I don't feel too much pain to do something because it is working fine

Does anyone succeed to compile addon for amlogic chips arm64-v8a on 32 bits mode?
I still can't install addon on android tv box with this chip neither on Chromecast with Google TV 4K (the same Amlogic chip).
I will be very appreciated if someone have a new ver. and share it for test.

VOD is from Kodi perspective something different and requires another class of plugin. Not pvr but video addon.

I have just uploaded a new version to the Github repository. This version is supposed to not need botan library any more. I hope to increase portability to more platforms with that.
Please try again to compile and report. Also please watch out for any possible regressions.
I tested the new version. As feedback, I can say that it now compiles 4 hours faster on Raspberry Pi 2b. The package was ready in 5 minutes. Additionally, the size of the archive is now twice as small.

thanks for your work! I am trying to get the add-on to work with my nettvplus.bg subscription. I was able to compile the latest version (20.7.0) for RPi4 (Libreelec), log-in and activate the device according to the instructions in the add-on. The device is also shown in the "my devices" list in the EON-TV self-service platform and the channel list (including EPG) loads without issues. Unfortunately, I am not able to play any stream (see [definition='1','0']log[/definition] below). Do you have any ideas?

Thanks for looking into it! After changing to Web (plus re-installing the add-on and deleting the device in order to create a new one that identified as "Web"), I am getting the same error unfortunately. The "new" device is showing in the EON-devices list as "Web Player".
