Das mit der ok / Enter Taste habe ich mal geprüft. Kodi 20.3 aus dem Store mal installiert, PVR installiert und LiveTV gestartet. Alle Tasten der Harmony klappen einwandfrei. Bleibt wohl nur eine Test, die Mavenverson runter , und komplett neu installieren.

Ich habe gerade die 20.4 installiert und bei mir funktioniert die OK Taste der Harmony nicht. Was ist zu tun?

Latest nightly breaks the select button

Zwischenzeitlich ggf. nochmal zurück auf auf 20.3 in der Version vom 28.01., da funktioniert es noch.

Wie kommen ich an die Version und kann ich die einfach drüber installieren? Oder sollte ich warten? Wie schnell ist in der Regel so ein Fix da?

Über den "Downloader für Maven's Kodi-Builds" kannst Du doch auch ältere Versionen auswählen,

Alternative manuell über die Links im ersten Beitrag und dort nicht den Download sondern *Archiv* Knopf downloaden.

Ein Downgrade sollte in diesem Fall kein Problem sein.

Für mich war das alles noch neu. Daher war der Tipp das über den Downloader zu machen genau richtig. Leider hatte er sich geweigert ein Downgrade zu machen. Der Installer brach immer mit einem Fehler ab. Da musste ich es deinstallieren und dann neu drauf machen. Hat alles geklappt. Da ich das Backup Addon verwende als auch eine MySQL DB, war das alles kein Problem schnell wieder alles drauf zu bekommen. Danke euch.

Wieso ging kein downgrade? Vielleicht falsche Version geladen ? Wenn du ein Kodi v8 hast , solltest du auch eine v8 nehmen. Oder wenn du aus irgendeinem Grund eine v7 drauf hattest, sollte auch die wieder genommen werden.

I noticed an update on one of my other devices that uses the standard version of Kodi and saw it updated, so I went to my main TV to upgrade my Maven Kodinerds version and found that none of the versions available for download allow me to use the select button.

The navigation buttons, left/right/up/down work fine, but that is it, I can't actually go into anything.

While I wait for a resolution I have installed the standard Kodi from the Play Store and it is working fine, current version is 20.3

BUT I need Kodinerds for my DV in mkv.

This is the end of the world, he needs (!) DV but it is not there. What a shame ...

How I like posting and requests like this. Writing partially in capital letters and now wait for "resolution". Maven how dare you

girkers, the author is spending his spare time to provide a custom solution for us, for all, who are interested. You cannot expect an immediate support from anybody.

Besides, having a problem without any (!) installation details or logs or hardware information won't be adressed at all.

So, for now, be happy with the official release without DV or use an older Kodinerds distribution from this side.

PS: Mavens releases are not in sync what is updated in Googles playstore. So in case an official release gets an update the changes are either already in Mavens releases or will be included later on or never

Das kann ich leider nicht sagen. Und da mir meine Frau im Nacken gesessen hatte, habe ich es halt auf die schnelle mit einem uninstall/install & restore hin bekommen. Ich war halt der Meinung das ein roll-back nicht geht und daher die Fehlermeldung. Da ich die Kiste so gekauft hatte, kann es alles mögliche gewesen sein.

I sorry if my post was taken the wrong way, in no way was it to be intended, or come across as, I was demanding anything. I greatly appreciate the work done by Maven and I didn't think my post was critical in any form.

After posting my message and it was moved to this forum I was able to find out that this is a known issue and I reverted to 20240128 build, that I had previously not seen in the archive list. Previously I had tried all the builds I could find, the earliest I recall was 20240205.

I am fully aware that Maven's releases are not in sync with the playstore, but I was using a version from around November/December last year, and Kodi had changed a point release so I thought I would update my main TV that lead to this issue.

The reason for no logs etc, I was first reporting this issue to see if it was known or not. If it was just me, sure happy to part with all the required information, even putting it in Github if it was necessary. However I had a darn time just finding these forums and I could not find the Git repository for Maven Kodinerds release to see if it had been reported as an issue. So now I have found these forums, I have a place to look through first before posting.

Again sorry for any offence/distress I may have caused anyone.

Es wurden PR eingefügt um die Änderung am Controller-Handling zurückzunehmen.

Damit sollten Maven-Versionen ab 16.02. kein Harmony-Problem mehr ausweisen ... hoffentlich.

Gilt die Behebung des Logitech Harmony Fehlers auch für die "normale" 20.4 ?

Sollte wohl mit diesen PR behoben werden für Kodi 20.4 Nexus.

Das Problem mit den Harmony-Problem wurde wohl schon mit den letzten Maven Kodinerds 20.4 Build vom 14.02.2024 schon behoben.

Hast du auch mal das neuste Maven Kodinerds Nexus 20.4 Build von Heute installiert ...Jack und funktioniert damit der OK Button auf der Harmony im Gegensatz zur Kodi Nexus 20.4 Version?

Ich mag diesen "estouchy" Skin. Kann man den nachträglich noch hinzufügen?
