Maven's Kodi-Builds für Android

Hattest du auch mal die letzten Beiträge auf forum.kodi.tv gelesen... Maven...die in Richtung Supertotos Rollback 18.9 gehen?

Stelle gerade etwas fest mit der 19.3 er Version: Auf meiner Shield Pro 2019 starten mkv mit DV erst garnicht! Bild wird kurz schwarz, dann war es das. HDR mkv laufen ohne Probleme.

Mit welcher 19.3 er Version konntest du das festgestellen...Boogie...mit der Kodinerds Matrix 19.3 Release Version ...oder mit der neuen Nightly Kodinerds Matrix 19.3 also gen 19.4?

Probier 3-4x den Film starten, das geht dann meistens.

@Ronny keien Ahnung, gestern mit dem Androis Installer ein update aus dem Ordner 19.3 gemacht.

@tantalos auch 5x starten hat nicht geklappt. Es ist übrigens immer der gleiche Film, der mal Probleme macht: 1917

In Emby läuft der tadellos.

Boogie...versuche das ganze doch noch einmal über den Maven Android Installer mit der neueren Nightly Kodinerds Matrix 19.3 ...also gen Kodinerds Matrix 19.4 ...die außerhalb vom Ordner 19.3 liegt.

also mit 19.3 weiterhin nicht. Mit 19.0. absolut keine Probleme. Naja, ich bleib dann einfach vorerst bei 19.0. Danke für die schnelle Rückmeldung.

Nicht nur Emby, auch bei Plex so. Alles einwandfrei. Aber die nutzen den modifizierten ExoPlayer. Kodi nicht.

Datt muss aber laufen...

Ich habe gerade noch mal mehrere DV-Titel getestet, mit dem letzten Matrix-Build von Maven (10.11.), läuft hier alles einwandfrei
auf meinem System (Shield TV Pro 2019/LG OLED ARC-Port/Denon AVR ->Scaler komplett auf dem AVR deaktiviert - jeweils über
HDMI 2.1 zertifizierte Kabel verbunden).

Stell vielleicht deine Kodi-Installation überall/komplett auf "Default", auch den Skin (ggf. Standard-Skin aktivieren). Im Kodi-Setup Bildschirmwiederholrate beim "Start/Stopp anpassen", ohne/keine Whitelist anlegen, beide Ausgabegeräte (Decoder und Passthrough)
auf "AudioTrack (IEC)", Ausgabekonfiguration auf "Beste verfügbare", Anzahl Audio-Kanäle "entsprechend deinem Setup", und Qualität
der Anpassung auf "Mittel" ->dann muss das bei dir auch laufen

Thank You so much for this build (Matrix + Master), frame dropping and micro stuttering have been the bane of my kodi experience for years. I'm using the master build and everything is smooth, no dropped frames, no audio dropouts everything is as it should be for both HDR and DV plus the atmos tracks.

Puh, dass letzte mal hier vor knapp einem Jahr reingeschaut und es gibt wohl immer noch diverse Probleme mit Dolby Vision. Übel.

Scheint ja ein echt zickiges Biest zu sein, ich wünsche weiterhin viel Erfolg und schaue dann erneut Mitte/Ende 2022 mal wieder rein.

Du kannst wohl am besten beurteilen, ob es sinnvoll ist diesen Code in deine Builds zu übernehmen.

Werde mir jogal’s Build jetzt erstmal als Standard einrichten, auch wenn ich dann auf DV verzichten muss. Will jetzt wissen, ob damit noch irgendwas ruckelt.

First we need to solve this specific issue (micro stuttering / frames skipped) which also occurs with HDR10 or even 1080p in combination with audio passtrough.

The tests must be done with the official builds, otherwise, the only thing that will be achieved is to create more confusion and nothing will be merged into Matrix.

When this issue is completely fixed in a stable way it will be time to think about DV.

Is it just my setup being weird, or have all DV support been removed from your latest nexus (master) builds for the last week or so? DV is not working with either .mp4, mkv or netflix or hbo max plugins on my shield pro 2019, but it works on my backup stable kodi install.

I have an Nvidia shield tube version on the latest beta firmware and the latest nexus build from Maven (20211127-9bf56e0cbe-master-ATV-armeabi-v7a) is the best to date for me .All my DV movies are working from the first try and no crashes since yesterday.
It's a one day test but at least for now I'm very happy with this build. Thank you Maven for your work.

Thanks, after messing around with refresh rate switch, etc, i see that it works if setting the shield to 23hz, bt2020 & yuv422, but not if any sort of refresh rate switching is involved. Probably because some things have changed in both this kodi build, and the shield betas AND that i have a LG E6, which have always given all sorts of issues due to not supporting DV at >30hz, so no point in putting too much into this until both kodi builds and shield fw is somewhat stable

Ich hatte bis vor kurzen auch immer die Master Builds , bis auf einmal Kodi ständig abgebrochen ist. Egal welches Skin ich hatte, sobald ich in Kodi in die Bibliothek rein bin ist es abgestürtzt. Habs runter und sauber wieder drauf , trotzdem abgestürtzt.

Correct me If I'm wrong but I think Matrix is the worst Kodi version ever made
