No. The addon use the ip of the sonoff(s). Hostname is ignored

If you scan for new devices in Alexa, you will see belkin switches. You can set a friendly name within the sonoff interface. This is the calling name for the switch in in Alexa. Sometimes it is necessary to repeat the scan if Alexa don't find devices.
