.fi Dateien im temp-Ordner

Hallo,

was hat es mit den zig .fi Dateien in ~/.kodi/temp auf sich? Wofür werden die benötigt und wie kann ich (automatisiert) sicherstellen, dass es nicht immer mehr und mehr werden?
Im Moment sieht es unter meiner Kodi 16.0 (OSMC) Installation so aus, als würden immer neue Dateien hizukommen und alte nicht gelöscht werden...?

Ja klar, es sind Binärfiles mit überwiegend Text-Inhalt. Schaut man sich den z.B. mit 'more' an, sieht man bspw. diese ASCII-Fetzen:

Inzwischen haben sich bei mir 32 dieser Dateien angesammeln, deren Filenamen die Form "100**-3a2e96a2.fi" haben, mit "*" als unterschiedliche Ziffern und der Teil nach dem "-" ist ebenfalls beliebig. Ihre Größe variiert sehr stark zwischen 1,8 KB und etwas über 400 KB, ihr Zeitstempel ist aktuell über den 26.3.-2.4. verteilt.

Ich beobachte das mal weiter, ob tatsächlich neue Files dazukommen oder ob es nur etwas Vorübergehendes war, als ich z.B. Add-Ons installiert habe.

So oder so, Dateien im temp-Verzeichnis kann ich höchstwahrscheinlich gefahrlos löschen, oder?

Hab ich gemacht und seit dem 2. April sind auch keine neuen Dateien mehr dazugekommen.
Also schließ ich den Thread...

Nachtrag:
Sobald ich Add-Ons verwende (z.B. ARD Mediathek oder SimpleSouthPark) werden diese .fi Dateien geschrieben. Nach wie vor, mit schöner Regelmäßigkeit und trotz kompletter Deaktivierung jeglichen Loggings.

Da ich sie gefahrlos löschen kann, das hier nur zur Info.
Vielleicht fällt irgendwem ja was dazu ein, warum diese Dinger geschrieben werden und ob man es abstellen kann...
