Ubuntu 14LTS, PulseAudio
Nach tagelangem experimentieren hoffe ich bei euch um Lösung/Unterstützung:
Problem: Beim AVR kommt immer nur PCM5.1 und kein AC3 an.
Versucht habe ich es mit einen DD5.1. Video und dies ist der Auszug aus einem mit DD2.0....
Laufen soll es von einer Nvidia720 per HDMI zum AVR

Das Problem scheint zu sein:

mich auch wundert ist, dass ich unter der Passtrough Option kein
PasstroughDevice oder Detaileinstellungen wie z.B. für AC3, DTS
Passthrough im Experten-GUI habe
